Our 11 hour train journey transported the two of us and a pile of luggage from Mumbai southwards along the Konkan Coast to Margao, Goa.

Since arriving we have had a number of strolls along the beach, with our favourite time of day being at sunset and golden hour.

Fishermen bring in their catches and clean their nets. Tourists gather round to get in the way and take photographs while the fishermen carry on with their daily work.

With the temperatures cooling down for the day, both locals and tourists come to the beach to relax. We walked past many ‘selfie zones’ trying to get that perfect Instagram shot. So we decided to join in and do one of our own.
